Marjorie Keller Films

A BAMPFA programme of five 16mm films by Marjorie Keller, a central figure in American experimental film from the 1970s until her death in 1994, who recast Stan Brakhage's personal, handmade filmmaking in feminist terms. The programme gathers She/Va (1973, 2 min, silent), Part IV: Green Hill (1972, 3 min, silent), Daughters of Chaos (1980, 20 min), The Fallen World (1983, 9 min) and Herein (1991, 35 min), and is introduced by curator Steve Anker.
